Audi suspension clunking and the dealer wants to replace everything


My A4 has developed a clunking noise from the front end that only shows up over rough surfaces, and it's been getting louder over the past month. The dealer wants to replace a whole list of components, which feels like they're just working through a menu rather than diagnosing the actual problem. I came across https://suspensionrepairdubai.ae/audi-suspension-repair/ while looking for a second opinion, but I want to hear from anyone who's had a similar clunk on an Audi. What did it turn out to be, and did you manage to fix it without replacing half the front end?
